Larrakeyah Primary’s annual swimming program is on again! Term 4 will see students from Transition to year 6 learn vital survival swimming skills as part of our Outdoor Education program. Students will participate in 8 classes run by Royal Life Saving Society instructors.
We are learning to express our emotions in Choice Writing.
We are learning to use our data findings to create a graph using technology.
Larrakeyah Primary’s Quest initiative returns for our Year 5 and 6 students. Quest is designed to connect and inspire our students and enable them to use their 21st Century learning skills to explore broader questions in real life contexts.
At Larrakeyah Primary we champion our student’s development through science and literature by engaging in Australia’s annual Science and Book Weeks.
We’re excited to return to the Darwin Entertainment Centre for this year’s school production, a tale of Mulan. Join us on Thursday 23rd September for a wonderful night of dance and storytelling.
Our school community is pulling together to help raise over $20,000 for new technology at Larrakeyah Primary. To do this, we’re hosting a Colour Explosion School Fun Run! Upper and middle primary and early childhood learning levels will each get their own day.
What a jam-packed term it’s been for our whole school community! There have been heaps of activities and lots of learning across all year levels and our students – and teachers and support staff – have earned a well-deserved break.
