Visible Learning- Transition Bostock
This term we have continued our learning around simple addition. Students use concrete materials (counters) to model adding two smaller groups together to create a larger group. They then practise writing a number sentence on mini whiteboards. Some students who are confident with simple addition create number sentences using numbers to 20 and beyond.
Learning Intention:
We are learning to add two small groups to make a larger number.
Success Criteria:
- I can use counters to show adding two small groups.
- I can count how many altogether.
- I can write a number sentence.
