Natasha Guse a Finalist in the Teaching in the Territory Excellence Awards

We’re thrilled that Natasha Guse, Assistant Principal, is a finalist in the ‘Leader in Education’ category for the Teaching in the Territory Excellence Awards for 2022.
About the Teaching in the Territory Excellence Awards
The Teaching in the Territory Excellence Awards recognise the contribution of Northern Territory Government school teachers, principals, leaders and support staff to quality education.
Across nine award categories nominees across the six regions of Barkley, Big Rivers, Central, Darwin, East Arnhem, and the Top End are put forward by their peers. Winners are decided through a multi-stage judging process, with a regional winner and overall Northern Territory winner being selected for each category.
The award categories recognise high-quality educators who exhibit exceptional leadership, pedagogical skill and knowledge, and who deliver outstanding results in their respective area of expertises.

- Leader in Education
- Primary Educator of the Year
- Secondary Educator of the Year
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Educator of the Year
- Inclusion Educator of the Year

Natasha Guse, Assistant Principal, a ‘Leader in Education’ finalist
The Northern Territory Leader in Education award category recognises extraordinary leaders who drive performance, innovation, and system improvements within schools and the department.
Natasha’s leadership, ability to help develop the best in others, and her work to improve, innovate, and manage how Larrakeyah Primary School delivers pathways to excellence has resulted in her advancement to finalist in the category.
Winners will be announced at World Teachers’ Day on Friday 28 October 2022.
