Maths Focus- 6 Searle
Learning Intention:
Students conduct chance experiments with increasing probability.
Success Criteria:
Students predict expected results and conduct experiments to test their prediction. Students present the results of their testing.
The class determined the options available for playing heads and tails with 2 coins. They then determined the chance of flipping each option and made a prediction for its result. Next step, PLAY!
We conducted 12 games and after initially flipping 3 results of tails and tails, we discovered that the results always return back towards the expected initial odds.
