Maths Focus- 2 Jentz
Learning Intention: We are learning about fractions.
Success Criteria: I can identify where we use fractions in everyday life.
I can explain what fractions are.
In 2 Jentz we have just begun our work on fractions.We watched a story about sharing equal parts of different foods like pizza and talked about our own experiences with sharing a whole into equal parts.
Students then explored the concept of fractions as equal parts of a whole by dividing their own pizza into equal parts.
